Why Baja Is Part of the Conversation
Baja is the first practical application RetireFurther will explore in depth.
For some retirees, it may offer lower living costs, proximity to the United States, coastal communities, and a different way to use retirement income and assets.
It is not right for everyone. RetireFurther will examine both the opportunities and the legitimate concerns involving healthcare, safety, property, transportation, legal issues, and cross-border life.

RetireFurther will distinguish between verified facts, estimates, personal experiences, opinions, and developing ideas. Risks and disadvantages will not be hidden merely because they make an option less attractive.

Why I Started RetireFurther
After living in Baja and seeing how location, housing costs, community, and lifestyle design can significantly change daily life, I began questioning many traditional assumptions about retirement.
RetireFurther grew from a simple belief:
People deserve honest information, practical alternatives, and the freedom to decide for themselves what a better retirement might look like.
RetireFurther was founded by a longtime Baja resident with experience in military service, law enforcement, higher education, business, and community-focused projects.
